Application Of WCF Technology In Media Asset Management System

In 2007, China Central Television launched the new site construction and technology design. In the design, building a more steady media asset management system for actors' requirement and connection between business systems is one of the most important subjects. There are three parts of media asset management system which include audio asset management system (AAM), video asset management (VAM) system and graphic asset management (GAM) constitutes the new system. Producer and designer could access through a unified portal for retrievaling content, browsing proxy resources and download the selected resource.Three parts of asset management system parallel work simultaneously. The new system needs more flexible for media business role, involving more complex processing than ever before, and the new system needs to online adjust process workflow according the business change.Based on the requirements of business system, and referring to international advanced idea of digital asset management system, this paper presents a basic and explorable framework for windows communication foundation (WCF) as the communication processing technology. which is aimed at digital media assets to handle complex multi-tasking data storage, real-time based business process, and to map the business changing. Designing and building a service-based distributed system, for further information transmission system provides the basis for the construction and scalable architecture Protection.This thesis describes following parts:Get and analyse full requirement. According to the research results, the author analyse the requirement, then create business use case model and feature composition model to guide the latter designing work.Designing the framework of graphic asset management system, defined out the clear hierarchy system structure. Using framework, the system combine communication, workflow with graphic processing functions and establishes both loosely and tightly coupled framework model.Message processing based on process-driven mechanism for analysis and improvement, to provide the base of establishing flexible mechanism for handling variable work flow, improved scheduling, business process and functional processing scalability.Realized the message of processing data, through a sequence of data processing, and through the specification and message specifications address the definition of data between heterogeneous systems interaction and processing.
