As streaming media technology is a key part of the system implementation, this paper from the principle of streaming media technology, transmission, playback mode, per the file formats, transport protocols and streaming media technology solutions, introduces a bit stream. On C/S and B/S structure analysis and comparison, combined with the overall system design requirements, the final choice of B/S structure as the system design model.In this paper, the overall demand for video on demand system is analyzed, and the system overall design framework, including front and back module design and database design. Based on the general framework, the paper the main features of the system to conduct a detailed analysis and mapping of the main functions of the data flow diagram.
