Design And Implementation Of A Teaching Support Services System Based On AJAX RIA

Teaching support service as a new teaching method can cross time and space constraints and integrate the teaching and learning resources. Because of its flexibility, interaction and resource sharing, it attracts more and more attention of the educational institutions. The current teaching support service was largely based on a simple application of traditional WEB. Because of the operational weakness, the great pressure of server and bandwidth of WEB caused by the refresh mechanism and so on, it can not meet the need of the users. The asynchronous commit mechanism used by Ajax technology enhances the interaction of the system, reduces the costs of the server and bandwidth and perfectly meets the requirements of system design.In this thesis, software engineering principles such as the development background of the system, the whole system design, the database design and the detailed system design are used as the breakthrough point to make detailed illustration of teacher support services, student support services, teaching management support services, online document management, online web store, online Q&A, online job management, online testing and evaluating teaching and other modules.The functional design of Ajax client system in teaching support service, adopts Ajax interactive mode to the operations such as add, delete, modify and so on in all the module system, aiming at meeting the design need of process of learning and the teaching activities. Especially in the unit applications, such as downloading learning materials, marking student work and student online testing, Ajax is adopted to support the batch work mode of teachers, which makes a clear distinction from the traditional B/S.
