Design And Application Of Rich Clients Based On EXTJS

With the development of computer and network technology, interconnection network is becoming the default platform for application development. But traditional web application is based on HTML page, while HTML pages expression and the friendly of interaction with users can not meet the needs of users. In this case, with the ability of rich expressive and strong interaction with the user, rich client Web application technology becomes the focus of research. In recent years, there have been a series of rich client framework which integrated the strong interaction of C/S and, and the flexibility of B/S, greatly improve the user experience.Based on the analysis of the shortcoming of traditional B/S system and the Superiority of rich client, use an opportunity of a web application development, through the depth research and analysis of RIA technology, especially the analysis and comparison of several current kind of rich client framework, chose EXTJS as the foundation framework for the rich client development, and successfully applied to the actual web application development.In the process of design and implementation of the rich client Web application, the author did not stick the original technology of EXTJS. But from the reality of project, not only inherited and expanded the EXTJS original technology, but also applied some new technologies, such as the page-level data cache, Javascript code dynamically load, view management, and so on. And use Web Service technology as a tool for communication of client and service.This article first gives RIA technology, EXTJS technology and Web Service technology a detailed analysis and description; second introduced the design and implementation of the rich client framework based on EXTJS; third introduced the application of the rich client; finally conclude the major work, and give a outlook of the future work...
