Design And Implemention Of News Production And Broadcasting Linkage System Based On MOS Protocol

In the background of integration of telecommunications network, cable TV networks and the Internet (also called triple-play), TV stations play a very important role as a major propaganda media. The TV stations are mainly focused on how to secure the production and broadcasting for TV programs, especially focus on the time effectiveness of the live news programs. As a main equipment supplier in broadcasting and TV areas, China Digital Video Company engages in TV stations' broadcasting and producing networks researches and applications. China Digital Video Company owns extensive technical experience and numerous patents which can provide equipment and technique support for solving time effectiveness problems of news programs.In this article, based on the traditional procedure of broadcasting and producing TV news programs, an integrated platform for managing TV news broadcasting and production is designed. This platform uses MOS protocol to solve the connection problem among equipments from different suppliers. This platform also accomplishes the automatic control between systems, which not only reduce the risk of artificial control, but also ensure the efficiency and security for broadcasting and producing programs.The key points of this article are the following:1. The integrated platform for managing TV news broadcasting and production is designed and analyzed. This platform is used for improve the efficient cooperation between the program production and broadcasting.2. Automatic processes control is used for improving efficiency and quality of news programs production and broadcasting.3. Integrate equipments of different providers by using standardized MOS protocol, to achieve automatic control and inter-connection between hardware and to improve system security.The platform designed in this article, has been applied and verified in many provincial TV stations.
