| To meet the requirement of high-performance data storage of the large-scale network, Storage area network (SAN) is applied to the storage network. SAN technology is a high-speed subnet which uses FC switches to connect disk arrays, storage device and servers. And Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) is an encapsulation of Fibre Channel frames over Ethernet networks, because of this, Fibre Channel can transfer SAN data. FCoE maps Fibre Channel directly over Ethernet while being independent of the Ethernet forwarding scheme. The FCoE protocol specification replaces the FCO and FC1 layers of the Fibre Channel stack with Ethernet. By retaining the native Fibre Channel constructs, FCoE is meant to integrate with existing Fibre Channel networks and management software.This article is written based on the project which the author participated in a communications software company, and it is mainly about the implementation of ZONE data backup module. The features of ZONE is based on the devisions of VSAN, VSAN's division is similar to the VLAN in Ethernet. The network administrator configures the different kinds of ports into VSAN with different link types according to the requirements in fact. And ZONE configures the different kinds of port into Zones based on VSAN, to achieve more stringent access control.ZONE data backup module according to the requirements of ZONE project, finishes the ZONE data backup to ensure the system's security at the running time. ZONE data backup module is mainly responsible for capsulating ZONE data message, receiving ZONE data message and parsing ZONE data message.This article analyzed the ZONE data backup module of FCoE switch, including Network Storage Technology DAS, NAS, SAN, FCoE technology, V model of development technology, etc. Subsequently this article finished the requirement analysis, design, implementation and test, according to the functions ZONE data backup module must accomplished. The last part gives some author's option and prospect in the future. |
