Research On And Implementation Of Management Technical Of Link Transmission Equipments

With the development of communication technology, network management technical develops constantly. As the communication network is made up of node and transmission links, the management of transmission link is a main part of network management. Various methods are adopted by the management of link equipment according to the network organize and the link configuration mode. Point to point mode is adopted to manage link equipment in some network and BUS mode which is one point to multiple is adopted in some network. The management protocol adopted is standard SNMP and private protocol of enterprise. In the above management mode, the management of transmisiion link equipment adopts polling mechanism int which the opetaion must clearly acquire the configuration and type and serial number of link equipment. There is much inconvenience in dynamicly adjusting frequence frequently. So a more mobile and perfect management method is probed necessarily.Aiming at special application Studies on the management mode of link equipment is done. Aiming at the aboving management mode Improvement is done.a new management mechanism and protocol on link equipment is presented based on storage-transmission. There is no need for acquiring configutation and type and serial number of link equipment in advance. The link equipment can be seeked and reconginzed automaticly. Connection between these link equipments can be analyzed integratedly so that the degree of managing intelligently is improved. Automatic management of link equipment is realized actually.In the paper, firstly studies on foundation knowledge on network management and SNMP is done through which the whole design of management technical of link equipment is confirmed, secondly, the design of management protocol of link equipment is done in emphasis aiming at the analysis of the mechanism of Ink transmission equipment. Lastly the design and implementation of link transmission equipment is done according to the threading of network management system. In the developing process,kinds of testing is done on various link transmission equipment which proves that this kind of management technical of link equipment meet needs that network management system has the ability of managing automaticly in special communication network.
