Health is eternal topic of the human. In modern times, the mass media play an important role on communicating health knowledge. In order to reveal magazine's health communication exist alienation, the paper analysis the health magazines market which is divided into traditional health magazine and fashionable consumer health magazine on the new century and elect "Popular medicine " and " Woman's Day" as the representatives of two different types of magazine to analyze the activities of the magazine's health communications. Finally, the paper point out that the health magazines how to communicate by a better way on the new century.The paper firstly use random sampling to select the sample magazine of 2001-2008 by quarterly. Using content analysis to statistic the articles pages, advertising pages, guide consumer articles pages, the proportion and trend of different health themes articles. Find that the form of the traditional healthy magazine are more conservative, the main content is physiological health knowledge; As the fashionable consumer health magazine, the form is novel, the style is lively, the color is flowery and the most part of its content is mental health, lifestyle, entertainment and information. Advertising and consumer information cover a very large space when health information tends to be on edge.Then, combined with the above analysis, the paper use text analysis method to points out that the health concepts of health magazines constructed exist dissimilation phenomena from five aspects, i.e., deeming construct the health concepts, fear of appealing to the patient overflowing, "the other image" construction, daily life in the spread of medical melt and the entertainment of manufactured in a desire for consumption. Then, it discusses the reasons of health magazines'alienation from subjective and objective: the literacy of disseminator is intermingled and consumerism's penetration.Finally, this paper uses the theory of health communication. From the Angles of subjective and objective to explores how to reconstructe health communication idea on the new century from two aspects.
