Lack of overall information underground in mines in the aspects of working conditions and geological conditions is the main cause of inaccurate calculation of the reserves and qualities of production and incoherent management for many mining enterprises.The relatively backward techniques and equipments in coal mining in China have resulted in frequent gas explosion and collapse accidents in recent years. Worse still, many mining enterprises still adopt traditional labor intensive approaches with manual labor as their main means of production, which is not only a waste of human resources, but also an obstacle to scientific management. Hence, the main task in the building of modern mines is to make use of computer aided design (CAD) for production management and technology development. With visualization and transparency management in underground mines, we can eliminate hidden dangers of accidents. Even if accidents happened, we could coordinate management in time and space, which would minimize losses.Computer simulation technology can simulate underground work sites as well as work sites on the ground, which is transparent and can be directly perceived, so that it can greatly reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency. It is of great significance in informatization construction and technical management for mining enterprises.This paper first elaborates the present situation in the development of CAD and 3d visualization research used in mines at home and abroad. Then it studies AutoCAD secondary development based on NET and custody Object ARX, mine CAD and 3d visualization technology and describes the basic principles of Kringing interpolation algorithm and strip algorithm. We estimated, with the help of the two algorithms respectively, the thickness of coal seam and create triangle surface grid, thus established the 3d model of coal bed, summarized the basic transformation theory of 3d graphics translation, rotation and implementation algorithm of 3d roadway modeling using translation transform and rotation transformation, and established 3d roadway model, designed the parametric system of roadway section in detail, and taking three heart arch section as an example, we finally used custody Object ARX technology to carry out AutoCAD secondary development in C#.NET platform, constructed underground mine CAD and 3d visualization system successfully. We realized the roadway section 3d parametric design,3d soleplate contour of coal seam,3d model of seam,3d model of roadway, navigation capabilities of 3d roadway, and formed finally 3d models through the analysis and optimum of underground mine laneway and coal seam spatial.
