| Virtual Reality (VR) is a new integrated information technology, research on VR technology in the mining areas is still at an early stage. Application of VR Technology as a guide coal mine production safety and provides with the trainees a new approach of safety education and training. Coal roadway tunneling is one of the basic production processes of coal mine, Therefore research and development of coal roadway tunneling simulation system(CRTSS) based on VR technology has important theoretical value and practical prospects.In this paper, base on the characteristics and production processes of 45407 Face Wang JiaShan Coal Mine. Given the framework of the system development, needs analysis, detailed design and the realization of the relevant algorithms.Using the principle of software engineering, object-oriented programming methods,combine with visual c++ 6.0, MPI's software Creator and Vega, completed the development of CRTSS. Solved the key issues encountered in the process of development such as establishment of the models, multiple viewpoints change, collision detection, dynamic control model, particle system, roaming algorithm, databases and Chinese show, optimizing scenes. At the same time combined with DIGUY completed the virtual miners'simulation, preliminary completed the tunneling technic process simulation.The system has vividly built a realistic image of coal roadway tunneling three-dimentional scenes. Through interaction control, the participants can quickly familiar with the production environment and the tunneling technic process.Test of the system shows high efficiency and stability, real-time data transmission accurate, realistic simulation effect smooth,meet the real-time and interactive requirements.The system can achieve the goals of coal mine tunneling safe education and the technical training, it also improve the coal mine safety, and other traditional learning and teaching model with good prospects. |
