With the rapid development of the mobile terminals and the PDA products, the embedded devices with the characteristic of high-performance, low-cost, and low-power expending, are used more and more widely in the military domain.According to the combat and training needs of the artillery battery,and the development trend of embedded devices,and based on the Artillery Command Automation System,the design attempts to develope a versatile terminal module with friendly interface, multi-mode of communication and navigation functions,which can be used both in the artillery terminals and informationterminals,and make the terminal have the basic functions of satellite-orientation,graphics-display,data-transmission,etc.In the design processing of the paper, at the premise of compatible with the data format of the Artillery Command Automation System equiped in the army, appling the graphics display technology of the embedded system to the artillery terminal equipment, actualizing the combination of GPS and military map, and displaying the real-time observing point, the target point, and other situation on the battlefield on the electronic map, to make interaction of people and computer more friendly, and the graphical display more intuitionistic. The subject adopts modularization design scheme, to make the GPS modules, the wireless communication module, the GSM module, and the graphics display module can be used alone, or be freely assembled.It is convenient for the expansion of the system.The subject is designed and empoldered with the uVision2 of the Keil Software,and adopts open desing scheme with mixed programme of C programming language and Assembly programming language,to exert the advantage of assembl programming language in hardware driver programme,and the advantage of C programming language of trenchancy structural, hig efficiency and strong readability.The design realizes the aim to make the module code optimized and combined,and has favorable expansibility.
