Design Of A Radio Transmitter's Micro-controller With Embedded Single-chip Computer

As the improvement of IT and computer technology and advancement of automation of radio equipment, a new problem is brought before radio transmitter's designers, which is not only how to upgrade the automation of radio transmitters but also how to watch the radio transmitters with telephone network or internet. As a product of applying computer technology in radio transmitters, radio transmitter's micro-controller is an important part of a radio transmitter. And it's much meaningful for upgrading automatic level of our radio equipments to study new micro-controller of radio transmitters. This paper describes how to design micro-controller with two kinds of single-chip computers, which are MCS-51 and AVR. During the procedure of designing, many new methods are used, which include IT, computer, electronics and embedded system's ideas.Beginning of radio transmitter's applicant environments and normal micro-controller's design ideas, the paper describes the function, which a micro-controller has in radio transmitter and tells the construction of radio transmitter's micro-controller and its characteristics. As the control unit of radio transmitter, micro-controller can turn on or shut off the machine, monitor the machine, protect the machine when something is wrong, and turn on or shut off the machine on schedule. The machine usually works for 24 hours day and day, so it is necessary to take steps to upgrade the reliability of micro-controller. We have taken specific steps in designing circuit and printed circuit board.A LCD module is applied in the micro-controller for operator and machine exchange information. And with specific software, we can operate the radio transmitter freely.
