Research And Application Of Power System Typical Security Technology Based On Grid Technology

The main goal of this paper is to study the safe operation mechanism of power grid, and design a security access control model based on a power grid, to ensure the safe operation of the power grid applications.In this paper,we have figured out the nature of the grid and its architecture, and described some important domestic and international grid platforms. We focusd on analysis of globus platform which is designed by U.S. Argonne National Laboratory and studied its security mechanisms in detail. Due to the recent increasing scale of power system, the system tended to be more complex, making power grid exhibited the feature of dynamics and wide area appareently. How to use the power grid services safely becomes very important. Existing security systems have had a lot of work relating to the user authentication and secure communication. we focus our study on the power grid access control method, and put up a access control method which based on user role and context using xacml policy language, and install the model on the globus platform. we tested the efficiency of access control based on role and context in power grid service.Then the paper introduced the power grid system, analysed of the basic characteristics of power grid and security feature of power grid, So we can design power grid services according to the specific application.The method of our research is to build a grid access control model using safety access policy of GT4 and xacml. As the access control model considered the context environment, access authorization is more flexible and more safe. The significance of this paper is to apply this model to the electric power system. Although grid computing integrate many resources, its wide-area and dynamic nature make security a big problem. we designed an access control model which can be helpful to design the power grid system.
