Software Design Of Access Control System Based On ARM9 And Embedded Linux

With the development of economy, urban population has risen quickly, the construction of security systems have to meet more strict demands. Access control system can easily manage entrance of important sectors. It plays an important role on public safety. In addition, the effect of Access control systems has gone far beyond its literal meaning itself, In addition to controlling staff entering the entrance, Access control system get more widely used in attendance system, parking system, patrol system, food and beverage Charging system. It brings great convenience, and becomes one of the essential technologies in daily life.Compared to the previous theory, the Access control system has been improved in this paper. Access controller can run from the host computer, as well as under the control of the host computer. In addition, the controller has the same graphical user interface as the host computer, administrators can easily add and delete user information, set user permissions for access control. When the host computer or network became abnormal, the Access control system will not be paralyzed, it still runs normally, doesn't cause any inconvenience for the users.The software design of Access control system includes two parts, the software design of host computer and the software design of access controller, but this paper focused on software design of access controller. The software of host computer has completed the basic functions of access control management system by C++ Builder in Windows Operating System. The software of access controller is designed by Qt in Linux Operating System. In addition to accomplishing the basic functions of the Access control management system, it also realized the embedded desktop management, soft keyboard and the text input, capture video data and other functions.
