Railway transportation is the main transportation means in China. As the country's future development direction of the railway, the importance of high-speed rail is self-evident. Although our country has successfully designed CRH1, CRH2, CRH3 and CRH5, compared with France, German, Japan and other high-speed rail technology advanced countries, there are still many gaps in the design of high-speed trains:one hand, the high-speed train design theory is very backward, the design experiences and results are not used very effectively at the train body design stage; on the other hand, there is no reasonable way to solve the data isolation problem between the various parts during the whole train body design period, which makes the process of the finite element model's generation and modification difficulty and complicated. This thesis mainly solves two problems, one is the design model's building based on design reuse technology, and the other is automatic converting which is from the design model to finite element model (abbreviated as FEM). The efficiency of train body design and modification is improved in the thesis.The main works include:The development of rapid product design theory in domestic and international, and the approach of the FEM data integration are studied. According to the features of parts in high-speed train structure, the complex skeleton-structure product design method based on component theory is proposed.The characteristics of high-speed design and parts in high-speed train structure are researched. The component theory and the composition of components are introduced. The problem that how to design the components by top-down technology and modeling technology based on power copy is specifically discussed. The design of three-dimensional design model by this way is built.The way obtaining the geometric data and component attribute to build FME from design model in CATIA is specifically discussed. A new algorithm of hard point and hard line in grid model of train body is proposed. The modification of FEM and checking algorithm is completed in the thesis.The way of FEM data outputting is studied. A new outputting way which at first generating a model data file (middle file) meeting the whole design stages and then generating BDF file for NASTRAN interfaces is presented.Based on the above studies, A CAD-CAE model automatically generating system is developed. The high-speed train body FEM and middle file are generated by an example.
