The basic meaning of scientific visualization is the use of the principles andmethods of the computer graphics or general graphics, large-scale data conversionwill produce science and engineering computing for graphics, images, represented invisual form. It involves a number of research areas in computer graphics, imageprocessing, computer vision, computer-aided design and graphical user interfaces,etc.It has become an important direction of research in computer graphics. Scientificvisualization in finite element analysis data visualization comes into the mostchallenging research hotspot.With the advent of big data and the era of massive data, the existing finiteelement software can’t meet people’s needs, in this paper,we use the finite elementresults data for the study and with the use of LOD modeling techniques, GPU-basedvisualization optimization techniques for finite element data for model building andvisualization of data, and ultimately greatly accelerated real-time rendering efficiencyof finite element data.For the finite element data structural characteristics, this paper in-depth study ofoptimization techniques LOD models and optimization techniques based on finiteelement data parallel processing, this paper mainly achieved the following outcomes:(1) Presents a finite element model of representation based on LOD. Combined withthe finite element mesh structure in the data pre-processing stage, independent designa model optimization algorithm, which greatly optimizes the data model.(2) In the cutting plane generated we used spatial coordinate system conversion, tomap the three-dimensional data into two-dimensional plane, accelerated the profilegeneration; greedy triangulation algorithm used in the improved algorithm in contourgeneration process, making triangulation achieve the best results.(3) Using of the parallel processing optimizationtechnologyto achieve fast real-timerendering.This paper presents a pickup point optimization algorithm based on octree,first constructed octree structure and then use of the ray intersection method tocalculations the picked point; This paper also presents an optimization algorithmvisualization based on GPU, this algorithm used floating point texture formats to storefinite element data and used OpenGL rendering pipeline parallel visualizationtechnology to optimize efficiency.
