The power-feed section of railway undertakes the tasks of supply of water and electricity for railway. Improving the management of the system can not only improve its efficiency, but also greatly increase the safety and reliability of the business. At present, staff of the water and electricity system use stand-alone software for simple management, statistics mostly, this is time-consuming. Moreover, this causes data redundancy of various departments, and repeated utilization of data is not high. To achieve infomationization and standardization, share kinds of device information and various information resources among departments and provide efficient and speedy means of modern management, we need to develop a set of software for the power-feed section of railway for effective management based on the network resources.In this thesis, aimed at the characteristics of the power-feed section of railway, combined with actual business needs, based on MIDAS (Multi-Tier Distributed Application Services), we design and implement the management system of the water and electricity supply.First of all, this thesis introduces the research background and significance, analyzes the current situation of the water and electricity system. And then introduces some knowledge about the software system. Secondly, business functional requirements and users of the system are analyzed, and the use case diagrams of the system are also given by using of UML (Unified Modeling Language).Thirdly, on the basis of requirement analysis, the system is divided into some functional modules. Meanwhile, the static structure diagrams of the system are devised by using UML, and then they are transformed into databases of the system. Fourthly, the thesis mainly discusses the detailed design of the functional modules, also gives the sequence charts of these modules. Finally, the running results of the system are presented.The interface of the software is friendly, as well as the software is convenient for operating, which can meet the demands of customers well.
