Research And Development On Milk-run Of 3PL Based System Of Vendor Managed Inventory

With the coming of economic globalization and knowledge economy era,competitive is intense increasing.Enterprises must strive to cost minimization while increasing market share,while inventory costs and transporation costs accounted for a large proportion of enterprises costs.However,many Chinese enterprises are still using the traditional self-managed inventory and supplier direct shipping model,which not only resulted in inventory costs and transportation costs remain high,increasing the burden on business,resulting in serious waste of resources,but also a serious impediment to enterprises to further develop and grow,Therefore,in order to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises,strengthing logistics management,make good inventory control,reducing inventory cost and transportation costs,and lowering logistics costs are very significance.This paper puts forward the solution of setting up the vendor managed inventory system based on Milk-run of 3PL.The solution is proposed based on the requirements analysis of supply logistics in SM Corporation,in accordance with the status of not in time,high cost of logistics,inefficient management in material information.The solution has shown good effect in the process of being carried out in SM Corporation.The main contents and innovation are as follows:(1) This paper has analysis the current situation of the supply logistics,on this basis,puts forward the solution of setting up the vendor managed inventory system based on Milk-run of 3PL and builds a new transfer chain of Milk-run supply logistics,the third parties logistics picking up-receiving-storaging-supplying goods,the manufacture receiving-producing online.(2) This paper build up the vehicle routing problem model based of the Milk-run ways.By the analysis and comparison of intelligent optimization algorithm,we finally choose the ant colony optimization to solve the problem,giving the basic method and steps in the application of the problem.(3) This paper completes the overall design of the system,including system development framework design,function and database design,ete.On this basis,we ultimately realize the function of management in Procurement Kanban,the management of supplier self-deliver,management of Milk-run supply,inventory management of material,management of storeroom.The system has been carried out in SM Corporation with good effect.
