LD-pumped all-solid-stated laser is the most active branch in the laser techniques field. It is also the final trend for the solid-stated laser. DPSSL is more advantageous on the weight, volume, efficiency of the electric-optic switch, life and stability than traditional laser.Base on the rate-equation, the quasi-three-level system is analysed.The threshold condition is given. Compared with four-level system,some constructive conclusions are achieved.Though the comparison of several common crystal, the Nd:YAG is choosed as the laser crystal and the LBO as the doubling frequency crystal. Base on the theory of thermal lens effect and the ABCD theory, the beam characteristics is analysed.The thermal effect of the laser beam in the cavity is imitated and the valid conclusion of high-quality laser putput is given.The 473nm blue laser output was 488mW. The pumping threshold is 1.28W. The optical-to-optical efficiency is up to 10.1%.The output power fluctuation isĀ±1.6%.Finally, the product functional test is given.
