Data mining find interesting mode from large amounts of data, data can be stored in the database, data warehouse or information library. Data warehouse is to support management decision-making process, subject-oriented, time-varying and non-volatile collection of data. Data mining is the method of using artificial intelligence database or data in warehouse to analyze the data, acquiring knowledge. The combination of data warehouse and data mining can provide better decision-making in different range of enterprises and other department.Based on the theory of data warehouse and data mining technology research, this thesis put forward a data warehouse and data mining technology applied to the analysis of Putonghua grade scores, main research results are as follows:1. The thesis introduces the data warehouse and data mining technology and the current situation of vocational schools educational administration management system, studies applications of data warehouse and data mining technology in the teaching management, designs and builds data warehouse model.2. The thesis introduces the process of building model for multi-dimension data using Microsoft Analysis Service, Uses database software to extract students scores from Educational Administrative System of our school, designs and establishes data warehouse of Putonghua grade scores using SQL Sever 2000 Analysis Service and accomplishes the operation and data display of OLAP on the multi-dimensional data cube, creates OLAP data mining model I using Microsoft decision tree and establishes OLAP data mining model II using Microsoft together, analysis of hidden relations between Putonghua grade scores and major, grade and household register through above two models.3. This thesis researches on mining algorithm of data mining association rules, introduces a improved algorithm based on the algorithm of Apriori. This thesis applied the improved algorithm of the data mining to students' grade scores data warehouse, and analysis the data in-depth to achieve the relevant trends, analysis and forecasts Putonghua grade scores combined with data mining results. The thesis provides the corresponding decision-making basis for the future teaching management and improving student's comprehensive quality, meet the employment needs of the oral Putonghua grade.
