Design And Implement Of A Steel-bottle Managerment Information System Based On C/S Architecture

Steel-bottles are necessary vessels and means in sale process of liquid chlorine, which is the important products of HY chemical industry group. But the managerment of steel-bottles is a special device managerment, their safety need to be taken care of when used. Besides, so many users, multi-unit and annual examination of steel-bottles have become a bottleneck to restrict the improvement of routine managerment. The original manual operation and statistical analysis have not satisfied the needs of daily work management of steel-bottles. Thus, the work efficiency is low, and there are many potential safety problems in the workflow.In increasingly competitive market, a great deal of attentions had been paid to the development of our chemical industry group. During the past decades, the equipment level of software and hardware in HY chemical was further developed. It provided conditions to eliminate defects of the traditional managerment. Therefore, we researched and developed a steel-bottle managerment information system.to avoid the mentioned problems above.Given the high efficiency and maturity of the C/S technology, and the system operators are factory LAN users and need to handle large amount of data. So we choose the system based on C/S architecture as our research topic.Firstly, this paper briefly describes the research background and significance of the system, the development tools PowerBuilder and Oracle database. And then, the system architecture, system requirements analysis, overall system design and achievement of function modules are described in detail. Finally, we analyse and discuss the key technology, which are used in the achievement of system.We in this thesis work out a steel-bottle managerment information system based on C/S architecture. It provides a platform,which is multifunctional, user-friendly and simply operated.
