Recent years, with social progress and urban development, traffic jam, road congestion and other traffic problems have become the bottleneck of the further development of the city. In addition to the appropriate widen roads, strengthen traffic management, rational planning of urban resources, the strong development of Public Transport is to solve the fundamental way to urban traffic problems. Bus transfer information service is an important part of public transport development, but also an important factor in attracting passengers to choose bus travel.This paper studies the synthetic transfer evaluation model based on the iPhone public transport inquiry system, is divided into three aspects:evaluation model of bus transfer, bus transfer algorithm and the iPhone bus transfer information service system. Bus transfer algorithm uses the optimal path search algorithm with restricted areas searching out of the route from the start site to the termination site; from those routes, transfer evaluation model identify the minimum travel path impedance as the optimal path; iPhone public transfer information service system combine the analysis of the evaluation model and the algorithm, for the final system design and implementation.This paper analyses the network of urban public transportation. Based on the characteristics of transit network, we abstract the network, and then illustrate the network with the graph theory. The paper also introduces the adjacency matrix and the reachability matrix expressing the connectivity between two sites and reachability after "a certain path". Using the above analysis, we can calculate the average transfer times with the traffic volume between two sites.In establishing the synthetic transfer evaluation model, this paper uses the analytic hierarchy process measuring the weight of factors. In this process, we can take the travel impedance as the optimal goal, take the factor as the rule, and take the route as the plan. At the same time, we focus on the search algorithms about public transfer. After analyzing the shortest path algorithm and the minimum transfer times algorithm, this paper proposes the optimal path search algorithm with restricted areas. This algorithm not only considers the walking behavior during the transfer, but also restricts the search area of the network. So this method improves the efficiency of the searching, reduces the time of calculating.After the establishment of evaluation model and analysis of search algorithm about the public traffic transfer, we design the public-transport transfer information service system based on the iPhone. The service system saves data with the SQLite database, making the offline approach possible. The development mode employs MVC framework, so it is facilitate to expansion and maintenance of the system. This service system not only provides bus line enquiry, station enquiry, but also offers the transfer enquiry.
