In the wake of propulsive course of urbanization, traffic of large and medium-sized cities has been growingly congested. The phenomenon of separation between residential house and work location among enterprise employees has, accordingly, become markedly obvious, and therefore more and more enterprises are resolving to offer employees commuter bus benefits, and consequently there is an increase in demand for commuter bus management and service software. Yet, owing to the drawback that commute bus is limited in coverage compared to public transportation, its blind area is a little bit large. For employees whose residential house is not near commuter bus stop, their commuting trips between home and job need to rely on public transportation and commuter bus transfer, therefore there is also demand for commuter bus and public transportation transfer service software. However, such kinds of software are rarely seen in market. Not many enterprises put effort in producing or releasing software likely, and the rigid demand for this kind of software thrives. Besides, it takes much humane effort to manually adjust commuter bus routes in response to employees’requirement changes for commuter buses. Meanwhile, once the route distribution of commuter bus changes, employees are supposed to be informed of instant modification of commuter bus routes. In order to improve commuter bus running efficiency, commuter bus administrative department in enterprises are responsible for commuter bus routes optimization and update. Hence, commuter bus information service software design is a burning issue to enterprises that offer commuter bus, which ought to provide functions including commuter bus information query, public transportation information query, transfer between commuter bus and public transport query and commuter bus route optimization.The research and development target of this thesis lies in design of an enterprise commuter bus and transportation transfer and commuter bus route optimization software. This thesis proposes a transfer algorithm based on A* algorithm, establishes a commuter bus route optimization model, and finally implements the software design for commuter bus and public transport transfer query and commuter bus routes automatic optimization.At first, from the perspective of software engineering, this thesis analyzes market requirement, practical significance and function demand of enterprise commuter bus information service software, and then successively gives system overall design plan and illustrates the implement of each module function in system. The transfer algorithm employed in this thesis is naturally an A*-adapted algorithm. As to the optimization of commuter bus route, we analyze the related variables and constraints of commuter bus network optimization and then an objective function colligating occupancy rate, one-way trip time and operating cost is put forward for commuter bus optimization model.
