As an important part of the mass media system in the society, radio is influenced by social change so well. Under the background of the acceleration for urbanization, the urban radio has great changed from the radio's form, context and basic nature, comparing with those has been before reforming and opening. These changes has close connection with the audiences transformation, city developing, the appearance of mass culture and the advent of automobile era, which all come up after the urbanization. The paper selected some typical city channels for drawing the outline of the change of Chinese city radios. And make analysis on the innovation of sketch in term of the improving for Chinese city broadcasting's by using the motor radio FM954 of Kunming people's radio station as example, what's more, put forward the prospect of the further progress of urban radio in the future.
