Yunnan Radio And Tv University Open Education Teaching Point Straight Pipe Research And Development, Educational Management System

In 1999, Ministry of Education of China started the project of Open Education widely in Broadcasting & TV Universities in China, and the purpose of the project was to explore and construct a basic frame, related teaching methods, management mode and operational system for talent personnel training under the condition of modern distance education in Broadcasting & TV Universities. The teaching and study management of Open Education is a kind of systematic operation in which CPS1.0 system has been adopted in Broadcasting & TV Universities by level-to level administration from Central, provincial Broadcasting & TV universities to branch universities and teaching schools. In the fall semester in 2010, Yunnan Broadcasting & TV University made a significant reform to managerial system of running school under the requirement of provincial department of education and the practical situation. A direct managerial system has been promoted in ten prefectures such as Dali and Chuxiong, the teaching schools have been administrated directly by provincial Broadcasting & TV University, the four-level management system (from Central, provincial Broadcasting & TV universities to branch universities and teaching classes) has been replaced by three-level management system (from Central, provincial Broadcasting & TV universities to and teaching schools). Branch universities was abolished in the new managerial system, as a result, the former used teaching and study management system CPS1.0 couldn't be used in the new managerial works.After making deep studies on teaching and studying management in teaching schools which are under the direct management of provincial Broadcasting & TV University, and analyzing on CPS1.0, collecting lots of data, considering the methods to solve the problems, author made a supplementary design to CPS1.0 according to the requirements of provincial department of education, and a detail description has been worked out to the system research importance, system requirement analysis, design and realization etc., a design developing programme on teaching and study managerial system for teaching schools attached Yunnan Provincial Broadcasting & TV University has been formed initially.
