Application And Practice Of Sprial Model For Develioping A Military Information System

With the fast growing Information Technology, Information warfare has became one part of the war. In the recent year, The United State of America and some other powerful European counties had successfully won a few battles with limited casualties because of the maintaining control of Information. This is a huge challenge for our military to fulfill the historical mission and to be able to win the war in the future. In order to achieve the winning of the Information War, Our military must follow the guidance of the development of science, establish the concept of Information Warfare, improve our information warfare capabilities, prepare the theoretical basis and the material basis for the future Information Warfare.The following paper used the development of the information technology system in the military as an example, base on the management, development, testing and implementation of the development of the military information system, discuss the problems of existence and the process of the life cycle, propose some suggestions and set up a model for the company in regarding for the future example.The writer is a Project Manager who works in a software company. He wrote this paper based on his own work experience. In this paper he followed the structure of analysis the problem, development measures, solve the problem, and draw the conclusions. Elaborated the existing problem and disadvantage of the Waterfall model, compared and proved the applicability of the Spiral model in the project, suggested some ideas to improve some targeted process. Then he discussed and analysed the issues of the company taking commitment with the military information software, suggested the improvement program and the strategy in regarding to the process of the project management, finally he analysed and draw the conclusion of the effect and improvement after applying those program and strategy.
