Research And Implementation Of The Management Platform For The Campus Information Systems Based On The Model Of Information Security Assessment Processes

With the development of Internet and information technology, the construction of digital campus in colleges and universities has made remarkable progress. However, due to the problem of information security consciousness exists generally in colleges and universities is weak, the information systems are lack of unified planning, the information safety incidents occurred frequently and the effective management to the application systems are difficult to be effectively carried out by the information department. To solve these problems, it is necessary to study the method of management of university information system profoundly, and to develop a set of effective methods.This paper discusses on the information security as a starting point to realize the effective management of university information system. Through a comprehensive analysis of the information system, focusing on the requirements of the classified criteria for the security protection of information system, and the basic requirements of two stages for the safety management, the system construction and system maintenance, a model of security management for the university information system was presented, which based on that classified criteria. Upon the management model, a management platform for the information system was designed and developed, adopting a structured system development methodology. Application systems were put into the whole range monitoring on the platform as soon as the project start. This paper studied and tested the function and usage of the management platform on a real university information system. The case study indicates that the information management platform system is a useful tools to ensure the safe operation of the information system.The information security as a means of promoting the management of the information system is reasonable and effective. Management information system platform Implemented in this study is proved to be helpful for unified management of the application systems of the colleges and universities, for improving the normalization and effectiveness of system management, and increasing the security for the application system.
