With the continuous development of the computer technology and communication networks, High-performance embedded computer system has been fully applied. Such systems which have high performance, low power consumption, etc., have been widely used in national defense, medical, aerospace, industrial and other industries, with the increasingly requirements from military and civilian usage, the traditional embedded computer system could not process the increasing information.In the past, each system was designed for the different applications, resulting in poor scalability, high repair cost and difficulties of upgrades.Therefore, research standardized, concise and flexible the embedded general-purpose computer system, which meets the prime protocol many manufacturers supported, is becoming hot topic.According to these factors, this topic will study the design and implementation of a general ATX PowerPC7448-based embedded computer.This paper describes theresearchbackground, progress and outlinesofstudy significance. Secondly, discusses thedemand-driven research ideas and principles, the focusofthedesignconsiderations. The topic highlights the design and implementation of the system, gives the logic and simulation results briefly. Finally, the power integrity theory is demonstrated. This hardware platform's PI design are analyzed and verified by commercial simulation software. Performance and cost optimize is also completed by the commercial optimize software. The testing process flow and running state pictures are given to verify the availability of the embedded system. |
