In order to debug actual projects and improve PLC teaching courses, an emulation platform for control objects was designed which consists of two parts:software modeling and simulation of the PC and hardware simulation based on embedded system. Compared with traditional actual emulation objects, this platform reduces the costs, also it's more flexible, it would be better to meet the requirements of students who want to design the industrial control system. Meanwhile, this platform can also be used for debugging actual projects to reduce time and improve the reliability of actual projects.This paper first introduces the development of computer simulation technology and embedded system, discusses the practical significance of this emulation platform. According to actual demands, the whole project of this emulation platform was designed. On this basis, hardware and software of signal transformation board were designed, also the configuration and application project for PC software were designed. Finally, specific actual project of industrial control system was carried out on the emulation platform as whole debug and verification.This paper focuses on the whole project of this emulation platform, internet communication based on the embedded computer and PC software modeling and simulation method. The whole system was debugged and verified under laboratory conditions, finally it achieved the anticipated results, and it's significant for debugging actual projects and improving PLC courses.
