The Remote Monitoring Of Vending Machine Based On GSM

As the inevitable product of modern social progress, vending machines beautify the city life and promote economic development. Along with the development of vending machine industry, its demand for social is growing, and the problem of managing large-scale vending machines is becoming more and more prominent. Based on the management of vending machines, this paper proposes and studies the vending machine monitoring and management system based on GSM SMS.The research is aim to improve operator managing vending machines efficiently and provide consumers with a query vending machine sales of goods platform anywhere by web or cellphone. This thesis mainly study the following content:Firstly, the paper carries out a detailed system requirements analysis. By analyzing the needs of operators and consumers, this paper overall designs the system from the functional and non-functional analysis: system architecture selectes the B/S network mode, communication technology uses GSM standard, the database server uses SQL Server 2000.Secondly, the communication of system is designed and implemented from hardware and software. Hardware Siemens TC35i is selected as the wireless communication module, based on the hardware module, the paper analyses matching AT command and SMS encoding, expounds communication theory, communication methods and programming methods of the serial communication,then designs and implements the software of the serial communication process. Meanwhile, cable communications and SMS query process are illustrated.Thirdly, this paper designs and realizes the monitoring system. The system database tables are created on the basis of database design; Then starting from the system interface design and system security,the paper designs a query log data interface for consumer and manager. Finally, the paper proposed some ideas to further improve the system.
