Design And Implementation On Tourism Information System Of Dalian City

Dalian is the first group of "outstanding tourist city" in China. Dalian not only has abundant tourist resources in modern human scenery, it also contains pretty of beautiful coastal tourist resources. Tourism has been developing into Dalian's emerging industry. At present, the traditional tourism map has been unable to meet the tourists'demands of multi-levels. Electronic map is the integration of the traditional map, computer technology, GIS technology, and network technology, which breaks the time and space limitations of traditional paper map, and it will broden the further information and the scope of application. Based on the network technology and the"51 ditu"Interface desighed by Lingtu Company, the paper study on the development of Dalian City Tourism Information System. Likewise, the paper illustrates HTML / CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), JavaScript scripting language and Panorama, and the overall framework of"51 ditu"Maps API is described including Maps API, Navigate API and Search API, and so on. Dalian City Tourism Information System that is based on"51 ditu"Maps API applies JavaScript scripting language forming in the Dreamweaver. The electronic map data come from"51 ditu"online map server. The system is designed into three modules—electronic map, map search and information announcement:①electronic map module for embracing map publishing, zoom, scale, Eagle Eye, measuring distance, and measuring area, etc.;②map search module for achieving the interactive position search, the surrounding searching and the guide of navigating route; and③information announcement module for achieving the function of attractions, map signs, and weather information announcement, in which the attraction information uses the panorama display technology as well.
