In the21st century with prosperous economic and culture development, globalization and urbanization all around promotion, people is filled up with vast amounts of information and circulated with cultures all over China. How to define ourselves in the long tide of culture with shifts everywhere?As the long study theme of sociology and anthropology, culture shift is playing increasingly important and realistic role in daily life. Unknown and unforeseen issues in modern society put people's life in instability. As an extreme state of culture shift, culture mutation actually is lurking around us.The disaster area has experienced tremendous changes in the last4years from Wenchuan earthquake in2008, from early serious devastation to all-around re-construction and to vibrant and modern new city we see at the moment. The municipal facilities and urban planning are also been greatly improved in the re-building process. As one of the people living in disaster areas, I witnessed and experienced the whole process of rebuilding and every single change in disaster area.Due to the serious damage of the earthquake, the Baiyun Village, located in the earthquake zone are forced to move, leading to the fundamental change of living environment and lifestyle of the villagers.In the process of adjusting to the changes, culture mutation happened in the Baiyun Village. So the earthquake is the root cause of cultural mutation.This paper aims to investigate the Baiyun Village, Tianchi Township,Baichu Principle where are seriously hit by Wenchuan earthquake, using in-depth interviews,participation and observation, considering the situation of the village before the earthquake as an insider, finally make a qualitative analysis of the Baiyun Village based on neutral value in order to have a clear understanding of the culture shift resulting from the relocation of the Baiyun Village.This article is divided into six chapters in three parts, the first part or the first chapter is an introduction, which presents the reason, of picking up the topic, significance, research design and research methods, as well as defining relevant terms, and presents the research status of relevant areas respectively from the cultural shift. The second part is the main part, including two, three, four, five chapters. Chapter II defines the survey area, describing regional geography, population and economic activities in the area.The third chapter is devoted to introduce the traditional culture of Heaven Pool in Sichuan; Chapters IV and V do research and in-depth investigation on social and economic life of villagers in disaster area in7areas including social interaction, political life, family life, leisure life, children's education, labor productivity and consumer behavior in order to compare the lifestyle changes before and after the occurrence of disasters and immigration.The third part is Chapter six, summarizing the characteristics of culture shift of Baiyun Village, thinking about the issues caused to the lifestyle of disaster immigrants and looking forward to future development.
