Under the implementation of the new curriculum reform in Hunan province, the frontline teachers meet some confusion in the process of carrying out the new teaching materials. There are four main types of confusion—not adapt to the change of teaching materials; no choice in the use of reference; not certain how to fill granted and cut the knowledge points; no idea of dealing with the college Entrance Examinations. These puzzles restrict the implementation of the teaching materials.Through the survey conducted in the 4 rural high school in Liuyang, which is about the high school math teachers'teaching structure, knowledge level, teaching methods, the concept of the new curriculum reform, the training and study, the students'quality, and teachers'working pressure, we find the reasons why confusion produced are that the teachers'education background is not high and their understanding of teaching is inadequate. what's more, the old teaching methods, lacking of training and exchange opportunities, and having no confidence to the rural students are also reasons for confusion. On the other hand, through a survey conducted in the class in senior one, we find students have problems in cultural foundation, study habits and learning methods. Those are also the reasons why confusion produced in the teaching process. In view of the above, we summarize some strategies in efficiency teaching and learning for both teachers and students in rural high school, that is, to fully understand the new teaching material characteristics, and studying the curriculum standard, learning course reform ideas; Change the teaching way, build the classroom atmosphere; Strengthen training exchange, grasp the characteristics of students. Finally,I list out four strategies about the new curriculum reform,that is the strategy on maths proposition,conpnt,revision and explanation. |
