The Programme for International Student Assessment PISA planed and implemented by Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is one of the most influential international student learning assessment items in the world. PISA project embodies the advanced concept used by international assessment, and has formed a systematic and complete system. Stones from other hills may serve to polish our jade, we can come to understand the international advanced education and teaching theory through PISA, and apply it into our reform of new curriculum of physics to promote our reform to get continuous development and improvement.Through reading a lot of literature, I find the studies for PISA are most focused on their theory, operation processes and the introduction of foreign evaluation results and analysis in our country. There are few article of studying PISA on physics teaching. Therefore, in this paper, I select a perspective of the change of teaching style from which I will carry out a more systematic study on PISA, in hopes of bringing some enlightenment to middle school physics teaching.In this paper, I select PISA as the study, focusing on analysis of the associated contents between scientific literacy of PISA and the changes of physics teaching methods, and seek enlightenment to our physics teaching from the PISA. In this paper, I mainly use the methods of literature analysis and case analysis to study the theoretical system of PISA. First, though the analysis and process of results of research at home and abroad, I reviews the history of PISA, sum up the basic idea--the concept of lifelong education, STS education philosophy and humanistic philosophy of education, explained six basic ideas associated with the physics teaching in middle school, and get some inspiration for change in the mode of teaching. Second, On the basis of theory, I focused on PISA's characteristics and Enlightenment in the actual implementation, combined with the physical questions and teaching cases in PISA. Finally, summing up the results of the above-mentioned analysis, I propose some proposal that we should learn the theory of PISA and applied it to the teaching of middle school physics.
