| Based on the demand of talent cultivation claimed by the rapid development of knowledge economy and information technology, the thesis aims at whether and how we can adopt the CBE(Competency-Based Education) mode in China, based on a further investigation on the education reform status of secondary vocational schools in China and some developed countries, and on the deficiencies of talent cultivation in our secondary vocational schools compared to the developed countries. After introducing the concepts and features of the CBE, we find a practical way to transplant the CBE mode to China. We also discuss in detail how to transplant the CBE mode to China successfully, according to some hot topics in our educational community, such as the current status of student number, curriculum design, knowledge structure and study mode.In order to illustrate the advantages of CBE, the thesis compares the CBE mode with its traditional counterpart. We take one of the core courses-physics as the example. The thesis analyzes what are the goals of current physics study, and we find a solution of how to implement, manage, evaluate the CBE mode secondary vocational schools in China, this thesis also studies this issue by using two teaching cases which are gravity and gravitational acceleration and electromotive force. Finally, focusing on the real difficulties encountered by an school during the education reform, this thesis brings forward some new thoughts to improve this new teaching mode on the basis of several advanced vocational education modes in foreign countries. All the cases used in this thesis come from Jiangxi Planning and Statistics School's students majoring in electron and science of computer, and the physics course which acts as one of basic courses.A conclusion is obviously drawn from the thesis that CBE is an advanced teaching mode, but we must absorb it selectively and digest it combining with other advanced teaching modes according to our real situation. Only in this way can we improve our teaching services better and cultivate more competent talents for our nation and society. |
