And then, it analyzes the affection of personal characteristics of college students, including students'gender, major, where the students come and their parents groups. On this basis, this paper analyzes the influence to get a job from the instrumental support and emotional support. Finally, the following conclusions: Students'employment situation is still severe; the most important source of support are from their parents, followed by friends and classmates; the greater the social support network size, the stronger the network density, the more social support the students get, will get they a better and successful employment; the members from the students'strong relationship , such as parents, classmates, friends, and so on, can play an more important role in job seeking, and the role of weak ties is not very obvious; students can keep a good communication with their members of their social support network, and so on.In response to these findings, this paper brings up that we can do more hard work from the students themselves, schools, community and government to build up social support networks for college students to help them get a job smoothly. And that can ease the employment pressure on college students and maintain social harmony and stability.
