In recent years, with the national policy, education reform, professional development of teachers continue to put forward higher requirements, University and College Physical Education Track and Field and growth of the professional development of teachers as part of the composition of educational resources, has its own characteristics, and vigorously Track teachers in strengthening, improving the quality and professional level, is to further promote and enhance the professional development of teachers to the practical requirements, but also improve the teaching quality of protection. This study is based in Gansu Province Institute of Physical Education Professional Development Track and Field as a starting point, mainly through the questionnaire survey, expert interviews, logical analysis and mathematical statistics, analysis of teacher professional development track internal and external factors, to identify Professional Development Track problems and issues for the existing coping strategies. Of the main conclusions are:(1) Gansu Province Institute of Physical Education teachers, track and field age, education, job title structure is more reasonable, strong sense of professional and form the basis of the reality of the professional development of teachers;(2) Gansu Province Institute of Physical Education in the status of the track and field programs led by faculty, staff and student recognition, the creation of a more reasonable position is to promote the professional development of teachers, the platform base;(3) colleges and universities in Gansu Province continues to strengthen the construction of sports facilities and equipment of the introduction, track and field teaching and field equipment situation has greatly improved, to enhance the professional development of teachers to provide material security;(4) Institute of Physical Education in Gansu Province in Track and Field teachers a good living environment, able to fit the social environment, family environment and school environment to work, a better basis for the professional development environment;(5) Institute of Physical Education in Gansu Province in the sport of track and field research to promote teacher professional development and growth of the role of the process, yet to be fully understanding, the general requirement that the existing research and higher; (6) Institute of Physical Education in Gansu Province of professional track and field a strong sense of professional autonomy of teachers can be full of attitude into the teaching and training work, the more satisfaction in their work with the emotional and cognitive state, awareness of professional development better;(7) Institute of Physical Education in Gansu Province in teaching the skills of track and field has a high skill level and have appropriate professional autonomy, professional development skills, outstanding;(8) Institute of Physical Education in Gansu Province of Track and Field teachers, higher research and practical ability, but the combination of theory and teaching practice are still lacking, there is professional development in the theory and practice of the inconsistency.At present the main problems: (1) course to be further attention to the importance of status; (2) Sports science research and the effective integration of teaching and training needs to be further improved; (3) task multiplicity distribution of the pressure and unreasonable to further enhance the professional development of teachers; (4) the quality of the students on their own track and field block of teacher professional development.For the problems, the following strategies: (1) colleges and universities in Gansu Province to further enhance the Physical Education teacher professional track and field, strengthen professional beliefs; (2) strengthen the theory and practice, form a good quality professional development; (3) further attention and study in Gansu Province Institute of Physical Education and professional development of teachers track the growth of its development to create a good environment for the growth; (4) continue to improve with the establishment of learning and training teachers to improve mechanisms to promote their professional development; (5) firmly establish the values of track and field professional development of teachers committed to their jobs, teaching, and common development.
