national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),China's poor population has been gradually reduced,the living environment in rural areas has been greatly improved,the per capita income has increased steadily,the educational environment in rural areas has been generally improved,and farmers' life satisfaction and happiness have been improved.At the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),the issue of agriculture,rural areas and farmers is fundamental to the national economy and people's livelihood.This shows that the national policy has gradually changed from "poverty alleviation" to "rural revitalization".Longdongnan region includes gansu qingyang,pingliang,tianshui,longnan four cities and its affiliated 31 counties,among which 20 counties are national-level poverty-stricken counties,with a large poverty coverage and a large number of poor people.Limited by geographical location and natural environment,teaching conditions in rural primary and secondary schools are poor and teachers are weak.In the past two years,with the implementation of the national policy of "targeted poverty alleviation",by virtue of the trend of poverty alleviation,the rural primary and secondary schools in southeast longong region have been developed,and the school teaching environment,education quality and educational resources have been greatly improved.From the perspective of the current school physical education environment in the province,rural primary and secondary schools have begun to pay attention to physical education in schools due to the influence of campus football and physical education in the high school entrance examination into the total score.The level of physical skills of teachers has been gradually improved.This paper takes the rural physical education teachers in south longdong region as the research object,combines with the strategic background of "rural revitalization",through the investigation of the local actual situation,analyzes the problems existing in the rural school physical education in south longdong region from a comprehensive perspective,at all levels,to understand the status quo of the professional training of rural physical education teachers.According to the actual situation of the region,the paper puts forward Suggestions and countermeasures for the development of physical education in schools and the optimization of the professional training of physical education teachers,so as to provide a scientific reference for the growth of rural physical education teachers and the professional training of teachers in south longdong region.The research conclusions mainly include:1.There are more male and less female PE teachers in the rural areas of south longdong region.The age structure of teachers is reasonable,mainly young and middle-aged teachers.There are too few talents with a master's degree or higher,only 60% of the teachers graduated from sports majors,and more than 60% of the teachers of non-sports majors hold the post of PE teaching task.2.The number of rural physical education teachers in south longdong region who have participated in professional training is large,and the training coverage is relatively large.Physical education teachers have a comprehensive grasp of professional knowledge and physical education subject knowledge,the basic theory of physical education of teachers is relatively high,and the special skills of physical education of teachers are more such as foot-basket,volleyball and track and field,which are relatively popular projects,while the small ball projects are relatively few.3.Longdongnan area of rural physical education teachers have a higher understanding of professional training,about 90% of the teachers think that professional training is very necessary,the most teachers have participated in 1-2 training.The main purpose of participating in professional training is to improve teaching assessment,establish various guarantee systems,and improve the training system of physical education teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in south longdong region.The main recommendations include:1.Government departments and education departments regulate the male-female ratio of physical education teachers in rural areas of Southeast Gansu.Under the background of "rural revitalization",talents are utilized to revitalize and introduce talents with master degree or above to support rural physical education undertakings in southeast Gansu.Increase the indicators of physical education teacher recruitment,mainly PE graduates.2.We will implement the policy on education in the strategy of "Rural Revitalization" and increase training efforts.The education sector should open training courses as often as possible to involve more teachers in the training,and it would be better to cover all the staff.3.The training needs of teachers should be investigated before the training,and the training courses and contents that can meet the needs of revitalizing the professional development of rural teachers should be set up..4.Government departments strongly support the rural physical education teacher training project,set up special funds for special purpose.We should innovate the mode of professional training,update the training concept,strengthen the training
