Study On The Assistance System For College Students With Financial Difficulties

With the college enrollment system reform, a special group of college students with financial difficulties has expanded and aroused widespread concern in all walks of life The author has done an empirical research based on literature reviews in china and abroad, the research achievements of many scholars and the combination of practical status. After reviewing the history of the assistance for college students with financial difficulties, this paper analyses the problems, by learning from the successful funding models abroad, it puts forward three suggestions:first, fulfilling the government' duty, establishing its leading role; second, fulfilling the college's duty, developing its major role; third, fulfilling the social responsibility, enforcing its security function.The author hopes that this paper will arouse much concern from colleges, education authorities and all walks of life for college students with financial difficulties. We should be students-centered, and speed up the development of the new-type assistance system so as to guarantee them to complete their college education successfully and to promote their healthy growth and our social development and harmony.
