It is very important of human resource management in regarding the realization of university strategic target and promotion the competitive power, and the one of its cores is compensation system reform. As a constitution of universities'developing strategy, compensation system plays a significant role in attracting, keeping and stimulating excellent teachers. In recent years, our country universities are sparing no effort to explore the personnel system reform, And it pays more and more attention to the university teacher's salary question. However, at present it was not perfect in our country university teacher's compensation incentive mechanism. Compensation incentive utility has not displayed completely, which caused the lower salary satisfaction, restricted teacher's enthusiastic stimulation and the work performance enhancement, and affected the promotion of universities' competitiveness. Therefore, it is critical to build the incentive compensation system for university faculty.This paper, based on the modern compensation theory,motivation theory and so on, took some universities in Anhui Province as an example to analyze the current situation and problems of compensation incentive mechanism of university faculty through empirical research questionnaires, personal interviews and other means. Major problems are as follows, low overall level of compensation and external competition power, low compensation satisfaction of university faculty, lack of flexibility welfare system, unobvious effects in long-term incentives and so on. Aiming at series of problems, it needs to find the causes and solutions to them. Based on the analysis of career characteristics and woks contents of university faculty, and referred to the practice and experience of foreign universities, this paper puts forward to the incentive compensation system, which is cater for teacher's needs and is feasible. This system insists on people oriented and full participation of teachers. It integrates more compensation elements, which makes it more comprehensive and systematic. It is flexible welfare system, career planning, allocation and other measures that more emphasis on the effect of personal needs, spiritual level and long-term incentive utility and so on. The incentive compensation system can be considered as the optimization and improvement of current compensation system. It can bring incentive function of compensation into full play, thereby enhances the teacher's enthusiasm and innovativeness. And at the same time we hope that some measures mentioned in the paper can provide reference for reformation of personnel allocation system in colleges and universities and promote the sustainable development of our university.Figure [7] table [33] reference [82]...
