| Thanks to the artistic achievement and extensive influence of Zhang Zeduan's Riverside Scene at QingMing Festival, it has become a popular topic. Among a great many of the homonymic artistic works, QiuYing's Riverside Scene at QingMing Festival has the highest rating and the higher value and represents the highest level and typical style of the following creative artistic works. The paper present that the author concretely analyses the picture language of QiuYing's Figure from professional painting point of view and that studies the differences and their causes in performance techniques and creative style between QiuYing's Figure and other else's to stress its unique artistic achievement and historical meaning.This paper makes analysis of the three Figures by using literature reference, the analog method and image method—the paper analyses the differences of the three Figures according to their production years and cultural background as well as performance techniques. In the case of similar painting layout, when dealing with paragraphs scene, the author focuses on QiuYing's addition of new elements along with additions and deletions of details and at the same time analyses the causes of these changes. In a new era, to explore the different ways of handling space, the author contributes to Zhang Zeduan cavalier perspective, emphatically focusing on analysis of new approach—application of Focus Lens in QiuYing's Figure and what's more, the expansion of Focus Lens in Ch'ing. Even by analyzing that different artists use a pen and ink changes from landscape, trees, rocks and transportation as well as building, highlighting QiuYing's painting from ink to green color changes. The author still has done a comparative discussion on the Three Figures in the ratio between the character and the painting, the characterization parting spacing of the characters and even plot conflicts, meanwhile analyzing QiuYing's description of depicting traditional Chinese painting of beautiful women in details. Prior to this, the study of Qiu Ying's figure mainly focused on the content and plot, while the innovation of the paper is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the painting language especially makes a breakthrough in the study of characterization.Standing in historical perspective, the author thinks that QiuYing's Riverside Scene at QingMing Festival is indelible value in drawing theme expansion and the change of painting techniques. This study to the subject is to continue to develop and evolve this topic and meanwhile can provide important theoretical basis for the study of other homonymic works. |
