| The Along the River During the Qingming Festival written by Zhang Zeduan in the Song Dynasty is his only authentic work handed down from generation to generation and is regarded as a milestone in the development of long scroll genre painting.From the Yuan,Ming,and Qing dynasties until today,"Qingming River" has become a widely circulated classic painting title.According to the existing incomplete statistics and textual research on the study of the Along the River During the Qingming Festival in the past dynasties,there are dozens of versions of the painting entitled "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" all over the world.The research object of this paper is the Along the River During the Qingming Festival published by Zhang Zeduan in the Northern Song Dynasty,the Along the River During the Qingming Festival published by Qiu Ying in the Ming Dynasty,and the Along the River During the Qingming Festival jointly created by Chen Mei in the Qing Dynasty.The Along the River During the Qingming Festival,created in different times,has its own painting characteristics and common picture format.The "Song version" uses simple and vivid techniques to depict the scenery and prosperous urban street scenery on both sides of the Bian River in the Northern Song Dynasty,reproducing the style of the times with a realistic attitude.The "Ming Edition" and "Qing Yuan Edition" in later imitations basically followed the structural layout and plot arrangement of the "Song Edition".However,in different times and aesthetic concepts,painters also showed their own different artistic language and painting style.At the beginning of the study,the focus of the series of paintings of Along the River During the Qingming Festival was mostly on the textual research of the Song version of Along the River During the Qingming Festival: judging the authenticity of the version,analyzing the specific picture content,summarizing its historical and artistic value.In the middle of the research,comparative analysis of several copies and their relationship with the "Song version" began.The research in recent years is more diversified and has the characteristics of the times,especially exploring the impact of science and technology on Along the River During the Qingming Festival,including the display of paintings through technical means.Finally,this article attempts to explore new forms of expression and exhibition methods in the creation of long scroll genre paintings in the current era,while also considering how to inherit and develop the excellent painting language from previous works. |
