Chinese and Russian belong to different language systems, so their grammar is quite different. Chinese grammar is recessive and fuzzy, while Russian grammar pays great attention to forms. Therefore, in the process of translation from Chinese to Russian translators have to ascertain the relationship between the various sentences, correctly understand the original meanings, then they must get rid of the shackles of the original sentences and reorganize patterns, make the translation consistent with Russian norms, otherwise there will be long-winded, ambiguous, inconsistent with the expression used in Russian and other issues.Transformation between simple and compound sentences is an important aspect of changing sentence patterns. This paper has consolidated the theory of transformation between simple and compound sentences, compared the similarities and differences between Chinese and Russian syntax, summed up the basic mapping and transformation methods between the two languages, analyzed the factors of transformation between simple and compound sentences, summarized the skills of transformation between simple and compound sentences in the process of translation from Chinese to Russian.
