With the deepening of reform and opening up, the increasing expansion of external exchange and the quickening of globalization pace, the important role of C-E translation in making the world know China is becoming clearer and clearer. Therefore, the social demands for C-E translation talents are dramatically increasing. However, E-C translation always holds a main position in China's translation for a long time. Additionally, C-E translation teaching and its talents'training have not been attached enough importance. The above two reasons lead to serious deficiency of C-E translation talents and directly influence China's external publicity and normal communication between Chinese and people in other countries.The core theory of translation ecology is to pursue the ecological balance of translation; however, the law of restricted factors is just one which is used in the ecological field to seek the balance of translation. The grasp of balanced law of translation ecology can reveal the essence of problems existing in translation and push forward the development of translation. Therefore, from the perspective of ecological balance of translation, the insufficiencies in the aspects of C-E translation teaching and C-E translation talents training are revealed, meanwhile, how to make up these insufficiencies and what measures should be taken to make the ecosphere of C-E translation teaching and even the whole ecosphere of translation develop healthily and stably are also on the agenda.This paper aims to study the situation of C-E translation teaching in China from the perspective of ecological balance of translation in translation ecology. The author attempts to provide practical improvement measures and other talents training strategies for the insufficiencies of C-E translation teaching after the analysis of each teaching factor in C-E translation teaching, in order to make C-E translation teaching develop in a healthy and reasonable manner.This paper adopts the research method which combines the qualitative and quantitative analysis, that is, the author obtains a large number of data through questionnaires and comparative analysis of cases, and meanwhile conducts full theoretical analysis through widely reading articles or works about translation ecology and C-E translation teaching.Under the guidance of translation ecology, this paper finally provides some effective measures of changing the unbalanced state of C-E translation teaching and training strategies of C-E translation talents based on the balanced C-E translation teaching. The author looks forward to providing more rich and effective improvement measures for C-E translation teaching in college, thereby continuously improving the quality of C-E translation teaching and the overall quality of C-E translation talents.
