Research On The Education Of Applied Arts Talents In Regional Universities

The innovative education and training of arts talents are required by the improvement of the state, the nation and the whole society, as well as the requirement of the education in the new century. In most comprehensive universities in China, the arts educations still focus on the three centers of teacher, textbook and classroom teaching traditionally. The teachings of knowledge are taken too many attentions and the trainings of ability are disregarded. The arts education should not only meet the requirement of society but also lead the developing direction of art and culture. The trainings of creative and applied talents in arts are the obligation of universities in the new century. Therefore, it is very important and significant to study the education mode of applied arts talents in university.In this thesis, we study the education modes of applied arts talents in regional universities by taking Ningbo University as an example. The theories and methods in human resources management in public management are used in this study. This thesis is organized as follows. The background and significance of this research, the researching methods, as well as some important conceptions of arts education, are introduced in the first part of this thesis. In the second part, we review the present situation of the researches on the education mode of applied arts talents in university both in China and outside of China. In the third part, taking N University as an example, we point out the problems existing in the arts education and analyze the reasons of those problems. In the last part, we propose some advices on the education mode of applied arts talents in universities.The conclusion of this thesis is that the education and training mode of arts talent of a university must meet the requirements of both the local society and the development of students'abilities. The specific advices to achieve this goal are listed as follows. Firstly, the curriculum system construction of arts education should be strengthened and more excellent resources should be provided to students major in arts. Secondly, to creating better condition for arts education, the support system of teaching management should be strengthened. Thirdly, the level of arts teachers should be improved to afford manpower support. Fourthly, to afford more educations on creative ability of arts students, the second classroom should be strengthened. Lastly, the reward system for the innovations of teachers and students in arts should be improved.
