With the use of high frequency, color words are used to describe the objective world of color. This paper introduces the" red" in Chinese and English" red" the same cultural connotation, namely red, success, happiness, beauty, grand, auspicious, danger and warning; Chinese" red" has unique cultural connotation, named with political overtones, such as" red"," both red and expert"; English" red" has unique cultural connotation, named the" major"," bloody"," evil".
