Depression as one of the most burning and frequent problems of physical disorder is an emotion that each individual can feel more or less in the course of their lives. Depression is in the tendency of growth in normal Individuals. Pregnancy is an important period in women life, accompanied by a series of neurophysiological changes and psychological and social changes. Pregnancy may still be a period of emotional and psychological conflict, and mental health problems during this period need more attention.More and more studies have found that postpartum depression is the most common mental disorders, that is a global catastrophic events which is beyond time and space, regardless of age and the human race. In these recent years, great importance is attached to maternal psychological problems,Postnatal Depression is becoming a research focus because of its high incidence and dangers.Objective 695 cases primary pregnancy women within one week came form the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College from 2009 January to 2010 December were analyzed in this article.Postpartum depression's enter criterion:age>eighteen; Edingburgh Postpartum Depress ion Scale (EPDS) total scores≥thirteen; Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) total scores≥tweenty, Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)total scores≥forteen; Meeting to the slight or moderate depression DSM-IV diagnostic criteria. Exclude the woman who is organic mental disorders, or receive an antidepressant drug and psychotherapy,together with severe systematic diseases and extreme weakness. A total of 37 patients completed the entire study meet the enter criteria of postpartum depression.The control group is 76 normal pregnant women.Methods 37 patients with postpartum depression and 76 normal mothers were assessed, including Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale(CFMPS), Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA).Results Research group, the scores of concern over mistakes(CM), personal standards (PS) and doubts about actions(DA) were distinctly different from that in controlgroup(P<0.01);Concernovermistakes(CM), parental expectations(PE),personal standards(PS) and doubts about actions(DA) had significant positive correlation with depression (P< 0.05); Concern over mistakes(CM), personal standards(PS) and doubts about actions(DA) had significant positive correlation with anxiety (P < 0.05);Organization(OR) had significant negative correlation with depression and anxiety;Concern over mistakes(CM), parental expectations(PE),personal standards(PS) and doubts about actions(DA) have a significant predictor of depression and anxiety.Conclusion Perfectionist personality on postpartum depression have different degrees of impact, interventions should be a combination of different personality characteristics of patients with different treatment.
