All the cases diagnosed are in line with the 2000 U.S. Institute of Liver Diseases (ASSLD) recommendations for the diagnosis of PBC. TCM in accordance with the State Drug Administration in 2002 issued "Guidelines for clinical research of Chinese medicine drug", classification type as:"liver and kidney deficiency type. " 29 patients were enrolled, of whom 2 males and 27 females. Randomly divided into western and traditional Chinese medicine (Tonifying Kidney Activating blood Qufeng Fang) in the combination therapy group (hereinafter referred to as the treatment group) and the western medicine group (hereinafter referred to as the control group), treatment group,15 patients in the control group of 14 patients. The two groups in age, gender, disease duration was no significant difference (P> 0.05), comparable.2. To improve the TCM Syndromes, the total score of clinical symptoms compared with before treatment were significantly different (P <0.01), the treatment group, total score of clinical symptoms improved significantly better than the control group (P.<0.05), that Treatment group than the control group. The patients were observed without obvious adverse reactions before and after treatment, indicating that the traditional Chinese medicine (Kidney nourishing Qufeng side) is safe and effective, no obvious side effects.Conclusions:Chinese medicine (Tonifying Kidney Activating Blood Qufeng Fang) combined with PBC UDCA capsule better than a simple effect of western medicine, can significantly reduce the clinical symptoms, liver function, accelerate the ascites subsided, reducing the extent and itching of skin Reduce the lesions, thereby improving the quality of life of patients, but also safe and effective in clinical, basic non-toxic side effects, the treatment of PBC, simple and effective method, is worthy of promotion. |
