Clinical Study Of Bushentonglin Decoction On Female With Chronic Urinary Tract Infection

ObjectiveIn Hubei hospital of TCM,we collected the 60 female patients with chronic urinary tract infection to practice a clinical study, to observe the effect of chinese medicin and antibiotics combined with chinese medicin on females with chronic urinary tract infection.MethodFrom November 2009 to December 2010,60 cases were randomly divided into two groups,30 patients in each group:control group (sensitive to antibiotics), treatment group (chinese medicine+ sensitive to antibiotics). The control group were received sensitive antibiotics, and treatment group were received sensitive antibiotics and Bushentonglin decoction.Result1. The treatment group and control group after treatment, we tested urine examination (urine routine, bacteriuria, urine sediments). The treatment group was significantly higher recovery rate, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).2. The treatment group after treatment, scores of TCM syndromes and effective rate were significantly decreased (P<0.01); the control group after treatment, symptoms and signs of change points compared with before treatment also decreased, but the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05).3. The treatment and control groups in the efficacy of TCM symptoms after treatment, the treatment group was 96.67%, and the control group wsa 73.33%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4. In comprehensive therapeutic effect, the treatment group was 96.7%, and the control groupwas 73.7%, two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).5. Both the treatment and control groups, blood routine, liver function, kidney function and ECG were not found abnormalities.Conclusion1. Integrative medicine therapy improved significantly symptoms and signs.2. Integrative medicine therapy can improve urine examination.3. urine examination is effective, and did not side effect...
