Effect Of Potent Purgative Decotion With Additions By Low-frequency Sonophoressis To The Restoration Of Gastrointestinal Function After Operation

Objective:Observe the effect of Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis with Potent Purgative Decotion with additions to promote the restoration of gastrointestinal function after colon and rectum operation and gave a safety appreciation of Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis .Materials and methods:Material100paients with colon and rectum operation in General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region during June2009-October2010 by random selected fractionate two groups. Control group and Potent Purgative Decotion with additions group. In those cases,55 cases were male and 45 cases were female,with an average of 65.74±9.46 years old and with the average BMI of 23.34±5.75 years old .All those cases 37were right hemicolon excision,with 11 cases were transverse colon excision;25 cases were left hemicolon excision,27 cases were rectum operation .Two groups were all general anesthesia,and the age,sex,operation type,operation time and abdominal cavity pollution have no significant difference after computation (p>0.05). Medicine of this study:Potent Purgative Decotion with additions which compact with rhubarb,mirabilite,officinal magnolia bark and immature orange fruit.Equipment:Three Transdermal drug deliver systems(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis that accouchement by BeiJing medical appliance limited company .Potent Purgative Decotion with additions,abdominal bandages and socket-outlets.Study process:All patients were divided in two groups by random。Each of group have50cases. Onegroup is disposed with conventional therapy.1.Nothing by mouth and gastrointestinal decompression ; 2.Retrieve the acid-intoxication and electrolyte disturbance;3.TPN;4.Get out of bed earlier and cheirapsis the abdominal part after the operation on abdominal region and so on .The other is Potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group which is treated with transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis 10 hours after the operation on abdominal region .The Potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating is coated on descending colon somatotopic organization,this treatment must be 30 minutes long ,and should be detained with 1hour after each treatment,twice a day .We can observe the time of two groups with the recovery of gastrointestinal dysfunction,and estimate those numerical data by statistical significance .Then we can draw the conclusion that whether the Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis with Potent Purgative Decotion with additions have an effect on the restoration of gastrointestinal function after colon and rctum operation.Results:1.The recovery time of bowel sound:the potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is(43.68±2.47)h and the control group is (48.00±2.47)h ;P=0.04<0.05.The passage of gas by anus time : potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is(63.20±3.21)h and control group is (71.82±3.46)h;P=0.04<0.05 .The first defecate time after operation:the potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is(85.45±6.91)h and the control group is (93.24±7.33)h ;P=0.03<0.05.After statistical treat, we can see the tow groups have significant difference in recovery time of bowel sound,passage of gas by anus time and the first defecate time after operation.2.Incidence rate of abdominal distention:the potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 4% and the control group is 12%.Incidence rate of nausea and disgorging after abdominal operation:the potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 8% and the control group is 10%;Incidence rate of bowel obstruction:the potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 0% and the control group is 6%. After statistical treat, we also can see the tow groups have significant difference in the incidence rate of abdominal distention and bowel obstruction (P=0.04<0.05); and they have no significant difference in the incidence rate of nausea and disgorging after abdominal operation (P=0.77>0.05).3.The first rate of wound healing in potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 41 cases in another group is 34 cases .The second rate of wound healing in potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 9 cases in another group is 10 cases .The third rate of wound healing in potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group is 0 case in another group is 1 case .After statistical treat, we also can see the tow groups have no significant difference in the grade of wound heal (P=0.49>0.05).4.The potent Purgative Decotion with addition coating group have tow untoward reaction cases .They have a little water vacuole and red swelling of the skin ,and soon recovery .All of cases have no serious untoward reaction .So the rate of untoward reaction is only 4%。They have no statistical significance after statistical treat(P=0.40>0.05).Conclusion:1.The Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis with Potent Purgative Decotion with additions can decurtate the time of bowel sound,passage of gas by anus time and the first defecate time after operation.2.The Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis with Potent Purgative Decotion with additions can cut down the incidence rate of abdominal distention and bowel obstruction ;and have no effect on the incidence rate of nausea and disgorging after abdominal operation.3.The Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis with Potent Purgative Decotion with additions have no effect on the elevate of wound heal grade .4.The Transdermal drug deliver system(TDDS)by low-frequency sonophoressis is security in clinical.
